A person or musician blows air through the mouthpiece and then the wind way of the Ocarina, the air strikes the labium and produces sound, the air vibrates throughout the inside of the Ocarina, and covering holes lowers pitch while uncovering holes raises the pitch. The blow holes are clearly visible, which makes it possible for the player to play an extended range of notes.
Easy to play. The Ocarina is an intuitive instrument that does not requires an structured learning method or deliberate practice to learn to play it.
This special version depicts a Chancay doll know as "Cuchimilco", an ancient doll/statue. These type of small statues were found in tombs and is believed that were placed either as a as funerary offerings, fertility amulets, toys or possessions from life that were buried with their owners.
